Residents complain about boyracers.

Angry local residents have taken to Facebook to slam boy racers who are disturbing them at night.

These young racers have been branded as “disrespectful” by disheartened local residents of the Bishopton, Erskine and Inchinnan.

Residents were furious as these boys race through the streets late into the night with their loud exhaust and modified cars even though many complaints have been made over the past weeks to consider the residents first.

Posting online Dean Slimmon said: "Who is the idiot in the banger fiesta, with the idiot exhaust? Driving about Bargarren, get a grip!!

Some of us have work to go to literally no need man! Its nearly every single night.

It’s not cool it’s pathetic!”

Another replied to the post and added: "I’m beside the main road into Bishopton in Millfield and I hear them racing up and down that stretch of road ALL night, nearly every night.

Drives me insane!”

One person said: "It’s the ones that boot it through Old Greenock Inchinnan at 70mph to cut through the bus lane to Erskine that annoy me. So dangerous."
